Funded Childcare Overview

Funded Childcare at Lullabies

- 15 hours funded childcare for all 3/4 year olds

- 30 hours funded childcare for eligible working families

- 15 hours funding for eligible 2 year olds

Funding begins the term after your child becomes eligible and is subject to government and local authority criteria.

All Year Round vs Term Time Care

All Year Round Places (Stretched Funding)

As a year round nursery, we offer a stretched funding model, allowing families to spread their funded entitlement evenly across 51 weeks.

- 15 hours = 11.18 hours per week

- 30 hours = 22.35 hours per week

This provides consistent childcare costs throughout the year.

Term Time Places

We offer a limited number of term-time only funded places.

- 38 funded weeks per year

- Aligned with the Local Authority early years funding calendar

- Places are limited and allocated on a first-come basis or according to our admissions criteria

Families choosing a term-time place will access their full entitlement during the 38 funded weeks only.

Registration Fee & Deposit

To secure your child's place, a registration fee and refundable deposit may be required. These are not a condition of accessing funded childcare and are applied in line with our Terms and Conditions.

Funded only places

Parents accessing funded hours only (15/30 hours across 2 days per week) do not pay a registration fee and deposit long term.

To initially secure the place, we may temporarily take:

Both will be refunded in full after your child completes their first full month at Lullabies Day Nursery.

Changes, Non-Starters & Additional Days

Changes to sessions & Non-starters

- if a reserved place is not taken up, non-starter Terms & Conditions apply.

- If you initially secure a 30 hour funded place and later add an additional day, a registration fee and deposit will apply.

Consumable Charges

Payment for consumables is optional and applies on funded days only. Consumables include: Drinks and Meals (Breakfast, Snack, Lunch and Tea)

Charges:

- £5.50 - AM/PM Session

- £7.00 - School Day Session

- £9.00 - Full Day Session

Parents may choose to provide their own consumables. Please speak to the nursery team to discuss next steps.
